I would recommend Houston Weight Loss Center for anyone who is committed to losing weight but has had struggles in the past. I came back for a second round a few months later and was able to cut another 25 pounds with their help. In the first 3 months I had lost 45 pounds, but more importantly I was able to maintain that weight even when taking some time off. The monthly meeting with the team helped with giving new idea and education for making better choices for my diet and helped to stay motivated to lose weight. However, with the help of the team at Houston Weight Loss center I was able to curb my appetite and finally make real progress towards my weight loss. My wife and I had our second kid and trying to maintain a healthy diet was the bigger challenge during that time. My main problem was snacking and eating poorly during weekends. I had tried losing weight several times, I was even able to work out and ride my bike typically 4 to 5 times a week. What is the reason why weight loss is important to you – that is what will keep you going. I incorporated daily walking into my routine as well as taking the stairs instead of elevators. I found a healthy balance with not restricting myself to certain things I like, such as Starbucks or desserts, but just limiting the amount I consumed. I didn’t know how fast I would lose weight and was a bit skeptical, but only 5 months later on this program I am a size 6 instead of a size 12. I decided it was time for a change if I wanted to stay fit and healthy. I gained about 40 pounds in less than 2 years and noticed my cholesterol had rapidly increased.
